Field Adoption Assessments — Freetown & Bombali, Sierra Leone

Turned real field barriers into practical rollout and training plans for CHWs and hospital teams

Field Adoption Assessments — Freetown & Bombali, Sierra Leone - Main

    The Challenge

Digital health platforms rarely fail in the code; they fail at the point of care. Before scaling, the programme needed to know what was actually stopping community health workers and hospital teams from using the tools day to day.

    The Approach

I ran technical field adoption assessments in Freetown and Bombali, working directly with community health workers and hospital teams to observe real workflows and identify the barriers to use: device access, digital literacy and workflow fit.

    The Result

The findings were turned into practical rollout and training plans, so adoption work targeted the barriers that actually mattered on the ground rather than assumed ones.
